PRESIDENT

Kathy has worked in concrete for over 35 years. She received an Associate Degree in Business from Central Virginia Community College. She has been involved in the World of Concrete and Women in Concrete. She currently serves as President of LCS and takes care of the day to day financial services.

CEO OF OPERATIONS

Steve is an U.S. Navy Veteran and started working in concrete in 1973. He is the founder of MAXXCRETE™ Concrete Floors. He is an ACI (American Concrete Institute) Concrete Flatwork Finisher and Technician as well as ACI Specialty Commercial/Industrial Flatwork Finisher and Technician. He is now a voting member of ACI 302 (Construction of Concrete Floors), ACI 640 (Craftsman Certification) and is an associate member of ACI 360 (Designs of Slabs on Ground), ACI 306 (Cold Weather Concrete) and he is a certified fiber installer. Steve is a former Region 4 director of ACPA (American Concrete Pumping Association). He also serves on the board of directors for the ASCC (American Society of Concrete Contractors). He is a member of AGC (American General Contractors) and is a certified pervious concrete installer.

CEO OF MAXXCRETE™

Stevie Ray played Division I football and Virginia Tech and Liberty University. He graduated from Liberty University with a degree in Sociology, Criminology, and Business. He is CEO of MAXXCRETE™ Concrete Flooring. He coordinates concrete pours for all flatwork. He is a certified ACI Industrial Flatwork finisher. He is a member of ACI where hes an associate member of ACI 302 and a voting member of ACI 640. Hes on the ASCC Education Committee and on the Board of Directors of the DCC. Hes a certified steel fiber and pervious concrete installer. HE also operators our lazer screed.

VP OF MAXXCRETE™

William Duck Lloyd is an ACI certified Industrial floor finisher. He is certified in pervoius concrete. He is a certified lazor screed operator. He coordinates with his older brother on the day to day operations of the finishing operations. In his spare time, Duck professionally races quads for Team Can/AM J.B. Racing on the national circuit.

VICE PRESIDENT

Ashley graduated from Central Virginia Community College with an Associate’s Degree in General Studies. She has been with the company for over 10 years. Prior to working with Lloyd Concrete, she worked with Steve for more than 5 years.

CHIEF OPERATIONS MANAGER: CONCRETE FORMING

A Lynchburg native, Jerry comes from a background in construction from both his father and grandfather. He is a graduate of Brookville High School and veteran fo the US Coast Guard. He started in residential construction as a carpenter and quickly moved to commercial construction with a general contractor where he worked i way to become superintendent. After ten years Jerry moved to concrete to leave a more lasing impression on the world. He came to Lloyd Concrete Services in 2001 starting as a field superintendent and progressed to Chief Operations Manager today.

HUMAN RESOURCES/ASSIST. SAFETY DIRECTOR

Staton has been with the company for over 10 years and is currently in charge of all personnel information. She assists with all safety items and works in project accounting. She graduated from Central Virginia Community College with an Associate’s degree in Information Systems Technology.

FORMING SUPERINTENDENT

William has been in commercial construction for over 20 years. He has been with Lloyd Concrete for 11 years.

EQUIPMENT OPERATIONS MANAGER

Mike has been pumping since 1981 and has been with Lloyd Concrete for over 12 years. His 34 years of expertise allows him to not only run all 5 pumps and Telebelt but to estimate jobs and dispatch all pumps.

FLATWORK SUPERINTENDENT

Elvis has been working with Steve Lloyd for over 29 years and now has 2 of his sons working under him as well. He started out doing curbs and gutters, walls, and grading. Over the years he advanced to finisher then superintendent. He is an ACI certified Finisher and Technician as well as an ACI Industrial/Commercial Finisher and Technician.

FLATWORK SUPERINTENDENT

Reno has been working with Steve for 25 years. He started out as laborer and moved to finisher then up to superintendent. He is also an ACI certified Finisher and Technician as well as an ACI Industrial/Commercial Finisher and Technician. He leads all the flatwork crews on jobs out of town and is a certified lazer screed operator.

FLATWORK SUPERINTENDENT

Marvin has been working with Steve Lloyd for over 27 years. He now has 2 of his sons working under him. He began as laborer and worked his way up to a superintendent. He is also an ACI certified Finisher and Technician as well as an ACI Industrial/ Commercial Finisher and Technician. Working with Lloyd Concrete has been Marvin’s first and only job. Marvin says, “I make an honest good living and a good company to work for. I enjoy pouring concrete every day.”

FORMING AND DECORATIVE SUPERVISOR

Mike has over 10 years experience in decorative concrete. He has attended numerous decorative seminars, and has been certified in decorative concrete. He also is a certified Rustoleum installer.

FORMWORK SUPERINTENDENT

Jeff Rowland has been doing concrete finishing for 17 years. He is experienced in all aspects of concrete finishing. He is certified to do concrete polishing. Jeff is also a certfied Rustoleum installer as well as Somero Lazer Screed operator. Jeff also has form work experience and work anywhere he is placed.

FLATWORK SUPERINTENDENT

Dedrick Craft is a 2004 graduate of Lynchburg College as Bachelor of Arts major in Communications with an emphases is Journalism with a minor in Computer Science. He is ACI certified in Industrial and Commerical concrete finishing. He has been working with concrete for 15 years. He has 5 years experience with form work and curb and gutter. He works where is needed, when needed. He is a Somero Laser Screed certified operator as well as a certified Rustoleum installer.

ASSISTANT FOREMAN

Jesse Gonzales is our main Spanish translator and has been with the company for 13 years. Came to Virginia from Pico Rivera, California as a laborer and has since moved his way up as an assistant foreman. Jesse has extensive experience in stamping and decorative, forming, and curb & gutter.
